New Resources Available:
Code Essentials Booklets give breastfeeding advocates the essentials about the need to regulate the marketing of baby foods.
Three slim A4 booklets give breastfeeding advocates the essentials about the need to regulate the marketing of baby foods (including formula), feeding bottles and teats. They will help legislators, policy makers and health educators understand how commercial promotion undermines breastfeeding, and offer practical advice on Code implementation and monitoring.
There are three booklets:
- Code Essentials 1: Annotated International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes and subsequent WHA resolutions
- Code Essentials 2: Guidelines for Policy Makers on Implementing the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes and subsequent WHA resolutions
- Code Essentials 3: Responsibilities of Health Workers under the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes and subsequent WHA resolutions
The Booklets are now available for order from the INFACT resource centre.
