Abbott Laboratories, charged with 17 lawsuits in the US over alleged collusion and price fixing in the sales of infant formulas, was fined $32.5 million (US) in cash and product. Abbott didn't admit any wrongdoing. At issue was whether Bristol-Myers Squibb and Abbott conspired to keep new entrants out of the lucrative US baby milk market.
